SummaryCannabis has been used for many purposes including rituals and medicines since 3000 BC. However, nowadays it is mainly used for personal pleasure. Cannabis is easily acquired since it is easy to produce and distribute especially amongst teenagers.
This research will explain how cannabis are produced and consumed as well as it’s harmful effects. By doing so, the society and community will be able to have a better awareness and understanding of the dangerous effects that it causes not just to the body but to the human psychological and social behaviour.
Floor PlanBasically this is more or less how my installation would be. it is divided into 4 different parts. this is done so that the audiences will understand better what the installation art is all about. as the audiences goes through the installation art, they will be able to know what causes people to start taking cannabis and what they feel prior into taking the drugs as well as manifesting themselves into becoming the people that they see and feel in the content of the installation art. by the 3rd and 4th part of the installation, the audiences will be given a scenario where they have to make a choice whether to take the drugs or not.
part 1 of the installation will show 3-4 different scenarios in the form of video of what causes people to smoke up cannabis.
part 2 is some sort of a sequel to the 1st part of the installation art. audiences will hear what those people felt which mainly is about depression, anger and sadness.
part 3 is where the audiences will take the role of the people in the content of the installation art and choose on whether they want to take the drugs or not.
part 4 is where audiences will be able to view their image in a screen behind bars if they've "smoke" the cannabis in part 3. the bars is to abstractly show that they are trapped in their sense of reality.
